An extraordinary country, full of natural beauties and incredible people. Its location, at the center of the two Americas has always benefited. Meeting and arrival point, Cuba has been a refuge and defense; love and shipwreck; mixture and mixture of identities that carved the soul and turned it into the amazing land that it is today.
Aboriginal, shipwrecked, corsairs, adventurers, idealists, conquerors, characters all arrived who, somehow, arrived to stay and contemporary now, still arriving at their shores, eager for findings, contrasts and essences. Different and distant cultures and idiosyncrasies merged from many lands, forming a multiracial ajiaco that departed from Spanish white and African black and came to be seasoned – to flavor the metaphorical mix – with a bit of Chinese, French, Haitian, Dominican, Indian and North American, that have been appetizingly and socially integrated to the taste of the most authentic Cubanness.
